The “Nuara Cook Sicily” Center of Gastronomic Culture is an initiative of Trapani Welcome, a place for meetings, courses and workshops where it is possible to discover all the secrets and techniques of Sicilian cuisine.
The Center offers an evocative sensory journey through the history, knowledge and flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, enriched by meetings with local producers and chefs. The initiative is divided in two paths: cooking classes and gastronomic tours.

Cooking Classes
The “Nuara - Cook Sicily” cooking courses offer the opportunity to get to know the rich heritage of Sicilian cuisine, giving the students a chance to learn and put into practice first hand the knowledge and craftsmanship of traditional recipes.
A precious heritage which is the result of a long history of contamination between different cultures that can only be acquired in close contact with local producers and chefs.
Passion, fun and quality are the elements that express the philosophy of the school. The courses can be participatory or demonstrative and all include a tasting session.
There are:
· Basic cooking courses;
· Advanced and technical courses (for professionals and non-professionals);
· Food education courses for children and teenagers;
· Thematic meetings with local chefs and producers;
· Tasting and sensory analysis of products;
· Periodic themed meetings dedicated to quality wines and excellent productions with tastings;
· Team building activities and corporate events;
GASTRONOMIC TOURS
The “Nuara Cook Sicily”Center also offers the chance to tourists to take part in tours and itineraries which allow them to discover the secrets of Sicilian cuisine around the territory.
Tours in local markets and in the places where gastronomic masterpieces are born, guided tours in the historical areas or in the natural reserves are only some of the excursions offered by the Nuara Center.
