Ignazio & Vincenzo Florio Culinary and Hotel Management High School
The economy of the territory of Trapani is strongly linked to tourism and hospitality thanks to the numerous historical, cultural and natural attractions it offers. Over the last three decades, the demand for specialized training courses and school programs related to hospitality has increased notably, and this has led to the foundation of the Culinary and Hotel Management High School in 1986.
In 1996 the school was named after two great Sicilian entrepreneurs, Ignazio and Vincenzo Florio, whose family had contributed to the development and growth of Sicily during the 1800s, making the island one of the most important cultural and economic centers of the Mediterranean area.
Thanks to the courses and summer internships offered by the School/Work Alternation Programs organized by the Italian Ministry of Education, the Florio School has created a strong alliance with local companies and operators who consider the school a significant point of reference for the training of staff and managers.
