Terre di Giafar Agricultural Cooperative Society
The Terre di Giafar Agricultural Cooperative Society was founded in 2008 by the will of 14 entrepreneurs from Trapani who decided to join forces as they all shared the same principles and objectives, giving life to a project which counts over 200 hectares of land.
The Cooperative operates by renting from the Court of Trapani the land and the infrastructures confiscated from the mafia, effectively preventing them from drifting into vandalism and neglect.

The Cooperative main building was built in 1967 and has recently been completely renovated and enriched with the most modern and technologically advanced equipment for wine processing and has a storage capacity of 60,000 quintals of grapes.
Currently, the winery offers two lines of bottled wines:
● The "elite" line of mono-varietal red (Nero d'Avola, Syrah and Merlot) and white wines (Grillo, Catarratto), characterised by a refined packaging.
● The “basic” line, made up of aromatic blends such as Nero d'Avola & Merlot, Catarratto & Inzolia, Grillo & Zibibbo, all presented in a colourful guise.
